The Blanchester eighth grade boys basketball team defeated Bethel-Tate 41-24 Tuesday night.
Coach Brad Ballinger said his team “used a suffocating defensive performance” to improve its record to 9-2 on the year.
Blanchester forced 31 turnovers and held Bethel-Tate to 9-44 shooting.
Brayden Sipple had 23 points, 16 rebounds, 12 steals, 3 blocked shots and 2 steals. This was Sipple’s first triple-double of the season.
Brody Rice had 6 points and 5 rebounds. Logan Heitzman had 4 points. Trenton Czaika and Hunter Hartmann had 3 points each while Brady Phillips had 2 points. Kyle Hopkins handed out 3 assists.
