FRANKLIN — Clinton-Massie’s Katie Hughes finished third Tuesday in the Franklin Invitational cross country meet.
Hughes, in a field of 48 runners, clocked a 20:54.
For the boys, Jacob Whitaker was the first Falcons runner to cross the line in 19:50. He was 23rd overall. Coach Dean Richardson said Whitaker was part of a group of runners who went the wrong way and ran further than the rest of the field.
Noah Brausch was 39th in 20:42 (personal best), Brennen Swope was 61st in 22:29 (PR), Colin McDowell was 82nd in 24:04, Jakob Meranda was 84th in 24:15 and Talent Sagraves was 88th in 25:07.
