ADAMS TOWNSHIP — The Clinton-Massie boys golf team took another step toward an unbeaten season Wednesday with a 157 to 183 win over Miami Trace in a South Central Ohio League match at Majestic Springs Golf Course.

Keith Mineer led the way with a 35 as the Falcons improved to 17-0 overall and 14-0 in the SCOL.

Thomas Carter and Cam Collett both shot 40s and Max Carnevale had a 42. Drew Kienle had a 46 and Caleb Enright carded a 47.

The Falcons have the SCOL tournament Saturday morning at the Chillicothe Country Club.

Despite their unblemished league record through the regular, the Falcons must finish no worse than second to earn a piece of the title. Because the league tournament counts double, Massie could finish second to East Clinton Saturday and the two would share the SCOL trophy.
