WHS volleyball drops match to Massie

ADAMS TOWNSHIP — The Wilmington High School volleyball team was defeated by Clinton-Massie 21-25, 14-25, 25-18, 10-25 Tuesday in Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference American Division action at the Lebanon Road gym.

“Another very tough loss,” WHS coach Jordan Watson said. “Everyone stepped up for this, even though it wasn’t a win.”

Madi Flint had a kill and five service points. Nyla Bailey had two kills, three blocks and 16 points. Aaliyah Huff had eight assists. Alix South had 20 great passes.

Riley Flint finished with six points while Sydney Wright had 10 points. Harlie Bickett contributed two kills, two great passes and seven points. Chailyn Johns came off the bench to chip in 33 assists and 14 points.
