EC boys push SBAAC lead to 40

BATAVIA – East Clinton topped the field Monday at the Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference National Division match at Cedar Trace Golf Course.

Following this seventh divisional, the Astros have a 40-stroke lead over Georgetown in the team standings. The final league match of the year is the 18-hole tournament Thursday morning at Eagles Nest Golf Course.

Individually, Lance Sininger of Georgetown leads East Clinton’s Jacob Olds by 46 strokes. Sininger had an even par 35 Monday.

On Monday, the Astros had a team total of 158, with Brenda Walters leading the way with a 37. Shane Streber had a 39.

Blanchester was led by Jacob Miller who had a 48.
