GOSHEN – The Blanchester volleyball team was defeated by Goshen 20-25, 19-25, 15-25 Thursday night in a non-league match at the GHS gym.

The loss puts Blanchester at 3-3 on the year. Goshen is 5-3.

BHS coach Jenna Weisflock said her squad fought hard the whole game.

Shelbie Rose had 10 assists, a kill, two digs and 11 points. Asia Baldwin had seven kills, six blocks, six perfect passes and five points. Casey Kingsland finished with an assist, two kills, two digs, six perfect passes and 10 points.

Ally Davis contributed a kill, four perfect passes and four points. Morgan Oberle recorded four kills, seven blocks, seven digs, six perfect passes and eight points.

Audrey Heitzman chipped in with five points. Kassidy Abney had two perfect passes and two points and Holly Scott finished with one assist.
