Blanchester junior Brooke Honaker was named the Southern Buckeye Conference National Division girls tennis player of the year. BHS coach Matt Sexton was named SBCN coach of the year.
The Blanchester girls tennis team had the top player and coach in winning their fifth straight league championship.
Ladycats singles player Brooke Honaker, a junior, was named the Southern Buckeye Conference National Division player of the year.

Honaker and teammates Heather O’Neill, a senior, and Emily Speakman, a junior, were named to the National first team all-star squad.
Lilly Tedrick and Erin Wilson, both sophomores, were named to the second team all-star squad.
Blanchester has won 30 consecutive SBC National Division matches, dating back to a loss in 2010.
Since the 2008 season, the Ladycats are 54-4 against National Division foes.
