The Blanchester seventh grade boys basketball team was defeated by Batavia 39-24 Wednesday night.

Kyle Garrett had eight points and nine rebounds for the Wildcats.

Gabe Faulkner had five points while Levi Montgomery scored four points and came up with two steals. Jayden Purdy had three points. Dylan Walker and Dylan Eastep scored two points each. Zach West led the way in rebounds with 12.

Blanchester will play at Wilmington’s Rodger O. Borror Middle School 4:30 p.m. Monday.
