Wilmington’s Rodger O. Borror Middle School eighth grade boys basketball team defeated Blanchester 46-13 Monday night.

Isaiah Rigling and Brett Brooks led the young Hurricane with eight points each.

Avery Warix added seven while Andrew Stewart and Mekhi Scott chipped in with six points each. Kellen Baltazar had three points. A quartet of Hurricane – Cole Bernhardt, Jonathan Hairston, Zainne Cowin and Alyk Lippincott – scored two points each.

For Blanchester, Blake Coffman led with six points and Jacob Hamm scored two.

Jackson Bray had two points and five rebounds. Justin Hogsett scored two points and grabbed eight rebounds. Johnathan Herzner tossed in a free throw.
