In a battle of unbeaten teams, Wilmington’s Rodger O. Borror Middle School seventh grade boys basketball team defeated Little Miami 26-25 Thursday night.

Luke Blessing led Borror with 11 points but his assist on Elias Lewis’ go-ahead three-pointer with 19 seconds left in the fourth quarter provided the difference, coach Ken Platt said.

Lewis finished with eight points and Zane Miller added five. Tanner Killen scored two points for the young Hurricane, now 15-o on the year.

Little Miami drops to 12-1.
