Lady Bulldogs use 8-0 run to hold off Lady Falcons

BATAVIA – An 8-0 run to end the first half helped Batavia hold off Clinton-Massie 46-42 in SBAAC American Division girls basketball action Thursday night at BHS.

The Lady Falcons drop to 6-13 overall and 2-7 in the conference.

The Lady Bulldogs are now 4-15 overall and 1-8 in the American.

Johanna Theetge had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Clinton-Massie. Mckenzie Avery had 10 points, three assists and three steals.

Clinton-Massie led 17-10, seeking to post the conference road win. The lead was 24-18 late in the second quarter when the Lady Bulldogs scored the final eight points to take a 26-24 lead into the lockerroom.

It was a back and forth game from there but Batavia managed to pull away in the end.
