Little Miami defeats Blanchester JV baseball

BLANCHESTER – The Blanchester junior varsity baseball team was defeated by Little Miami 19-3 Monday at Bott Field.

Kaleb Goodin pitched into the fourth inning, striking out three. Coach Andrew Freeman said Goodin did a good job of getting ahead of the hitters and pitching to contact early.

“Unfortunately after playing two games on Saturday, we knew some of our pitchers were going to have a tough time pitching on short rest,” said Freeman.

Trenton Czaika and Goodin had one hit each for the Wildcats. “We were patient at the plate in order to get base runners, but were unable to put hits together to capitalize and score runs,” said Freeman.
