Lang scores 7, leads WC to 16-9 win in ‘18 finale

WILMINGTON – The Wilmington College men’s lacrosse team defeated Muskingum 16-9 Saturday in the regular season finale.

Wilmington finishes its season 5-9 overall and 2-6 in the OAC.

took on Muskingum this afternoon and won a thrilling game 16-9. This game was Wilmington’s last of the season and senior day for three Quakers.

Jhordan Lang led the Quakers with seven goals, three coming in a first quarter hat trick. His first goal of the game came 19 seconds after the opening faceoff.

Andrew Miller and Connor Judge had three goals each. Zac Chucta and Mike also scored for WC.

Wilmington led 6-3 after one quarter then extended its advantage to 10-3 at halftime. WC pushed the margin to 13-7 after three as the Muskies were never able to seriously threaten the Quakers lead.

Tanner Diment picked up 19 ground balls and goalie Jake Ladenforf recorded 11 saves on 20 shots.
