Xenia drops WHS in season-opening volleyball match

WILMINGTON – The Wilmington High School volleyball team opened its season Monday with a 3-1 loss to Xenia in non-league action at Fred Summers Court.

After dropping the opening set, 24-26, the Lady Hurricane came back to win the second set 25-20.

The Lady Buccaneers won the next two sets to take the match.
