BLANCHESTER – Bethel-Tate defeated Blanchester 9-1 Tuesday in SBAAC National Division boys soccer action at Barbour Memorial Field.

BHS coach Troy Ballinger said the Tigers “possessed a strong attack that the Wildcats held off for a good while until an unlucky deflection off a Wildcat defender found the corner of the goal.”

Reagan Burch found the back of the net for the lone Wildcats’ goal. Tanner Kellerman assisted.

Gavin Colebank had 13 saves in the first half of the match while Aaron Drexler had two saves in the second half.

Bethel-Tate led 5-0 at halftime.

Blanchester plays at Clinton-Massie in a non-league match Thursday.
