CM wins, Clayborn unbeaten season marches on

ADAMS TOWNSHIP – Clinton-Massie improved to 9-3 Thursday by sweeping Batavia in SBAAC American Division tennis action 5-0 on Senior Night.

Senior Hailey Clayborn continued her unbeaten season with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Megan Wallace. Clayborn is now 12-0 overall, 7-0 in SBAAC action.

Seniors Jenn Callewaert and Lindsey Amberger combined for a solid match at second doubles 6-1, 6-0.

“It’s odd to have senior night so early,” CM coach Lynn Deatherage said.

However, the Lady Falcons are on the road for the next three weeks to finish out the season.
