Lady Hurricane breezes past Lady Broncos 5-0

MT. ORAB – The Wilmington High School girls tennis team breezed by Western Brown 5-0 Tuesday in SBAAC American Division play on the WB courts.

The Lady Hurricane goes to 7-1 in the American Division and 11-2 overall.

Zane Bekheet went to third singles as coach Doug Cooper gave Rachel Barker a day of rest. With Bekheet back on a singles court, Kristina Walt needed a doubles partner and Josie Nichols made her varsity debut and teamed with Walt for a 6-1, 6-0 win.
