Lions have no bite against Ladycats volleyball

BLANCHESTER – On the strength of 20 kills, the Blanchester volleyball team blitzed New Richmond 25-14, 25-17, 25-13 Thursday in a non-league match at the BHS gym.

“The girls really hit the ball well,” Blanchester coach Jenna Weisflock said.

Madison Creager had 20 points, with five aces. She also had five perfect passes and a dig. Holly Scott finished with a dig, 16 points, 12 assists and a kill. Morgan Oberle had seven perfect passes, 13 points, 10 kills and seven blocks at the net.

Kassidy Abney had six perfect passes and three points. Ally Davis had two digs, five perfect passes, seven points and four kills. Caili Baumann had a perfect pass, three points, five kills and a block.

Kelli Hoffman chipped in with four perfect passes and two points. Molly Campbell had two perfect passes and Madison Wells recorded a dig. Brooklyn Bockstiefel had two perfect passes.
