KETTERING – Simon Heys and Sophie Huffman took top honors for the Wilmington High School cross country program Saturday at the Neal Charske Firebird XC Invitational at Fairmont High School.
Heys was third overall in the Varsity Boys Silver race, posting a time of 16:16.1.
Huffman finished in 12:38, a season-best time. She topped the field of 92 runners in the girls middle school race.
