East Clinton wins battle over Blanchester

BLANCHESTER – The Blanchester volleyball team was defeated by East Clinton Tuesday 23-25, 25-18, 21-25, 25-27.

“The girls came out and really played hard,” BHS coach Jenna Weisflock said. “They played with a lot of heart.”

Caili Baumann played hard and strong at the net, Weisflock said, noting she finished with eight kills, four blocks and nine points.

Holly Scott had 13 assists, two perfect passes and 14 points. Madison Creager finished with a dig, five perfect passes and 13 points. Morgan Oberle had nine kills, eight blocks, a dig, eight perfect passes, 16 points and four aces. Molly Campbell chipped in with a dig.

Kassidy Abney had a dig, a perfect pass and 16 points. Ally Davis contributed four kills, a dig, eight perfect passes and seven points. Kelli Hoffman had a dig, three perfect passes and a point.
