XENIA – The Blanchester and East Clinton girls cross country teams competed Saturday in the Legacy Christian XC Invitational.

Alexis Davis of BHS was the top finish among local runners, placing 14th out of 156 with a time of 24:59.3.

Addie Engel of Springfield Catholic Central was the race winner in 20:46.9.

Alex Hughes of East Clinton was next with a 31:36.9 run, good enough for 85th place.

Rounding out the local girls field was Paige Bowman of East Clinton, 98th in 32:25.4; Brittney Wheeler of East Clinton, 118th in 34:32.2; and Kenton Deaton of East Clinton, 138th in 37:29.6.
