Wilmington College men’s cross country freshman Evan Whitaker has garnered Ohio Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for events Oct. 1-7.

Whitaker was the top Fightin’ Quaker finisher at the Eagle Invitational Friday, placing 13th overall with a time of 26:26.3. As a team, Wilmington finished seventh in the event out of 18 teams.

The Quakers will host the Jenna Strong Invitational Friday.
