Wilmington High School freshman Claire Burns was named to the second team all-area tennis team by the Miami Valley Tennis Coaches Association.

Burns advanced to the district tournament this season and finished with a 25-3 record.

Emma Schroeder and Jenna Taylor were given honorable mention on the all-area doubles teams, according to WHS head coach Doug Cooper.
