Libby Evanshine scored 21 points Tuesday and the East Clinton eighth grade girls basketball team defeated Goshen 40-21.

“The biggest difference in the game came down to our defense, both on the ball as well as our help side,” the EC coaches said. “We were fast and physical which led to some easy transition buckets.”

Jozie Jones had seven points for EC and Kami Whiteaker and Jayden Murphy scord five each. Hayleigh Perdue scored two points.
