Blanchester High School’s Savanna Schutte finished second in the all-around competition Saturday at the Cincinnati City Gymnastic Championships at Cincinnati Country Day High School.

Competing with the Anderson High School Gymskins gymnastics team, Schutte was second in the all-around competition to Maggie Fricker of Walnut Hills.

In her individual disciplines, Schutte was ninth on the balance beam, third on vault and second on parallel bars.

The Anderson team was the overall city tournament runnerup.

Schutte competes with Anderson because Blanchester does not have a gymnastics team.
