BEREA – The Wilmington College women’s soccer season ended Monday with a 4-1 loss to Baldwin-Wallace in the first round of the Ohio Athletic Conference tournament.
The WC women finish with a record of 10-8-1.
Baldwin Wallace is 11-5-5.
The Yellow Jackets led 3-0 at halftime and eventually pushed the difference to 4-0 before the Quakers scored. Ashley Lovett scored unassisted in the 71st minute.
BW held a 15-12 advantage in shots on goal. Wilmington had a 5-3 edge in corner kicks.
Brittany Ross took the loss in goal for Wilmington. Sarah Sparks recorded three saves for WC during her time in goal.
