‘Locked up for Life’ campaign set

WILMINGTON – New Life Clinic will have a capital campaign fundraiser Sunday, June 28 through Tuesday, June 30. The Locked up for Life campaign will involve local pastors and other local residents as they will be “locked up”’ on the courthouse lawn (on the corner of South and Sugartree streets) during those dates. There is a fee of $25 or $50 to have someone “arrested and jailed” and the prisoner must raise $250 or $500 to get out (or a set amount if candidate was pre-selected by New Life Clinic Board members.)

For nearly 30 years, New Life Clinic has served the residents of Clinton and surrounding counties by providing education, resources and support to those individuals (male and female) involved in pregnancy related circumstances. The clinic is expanding and growing, thus needing a larger building to facilitate its needs. Donations for the Locked up for Life Campaign will go towards the completion of the clinic’s new building.

All donations are tax-deductible and can be given through newlifesupport.org. For more information, contact Sherry Weller at 937-382-6588 or [email protected]
