The Blanchester seventh and eighth grade football teams swept a pair of games from Western Brown Wednesday.
The eighth grade (1-0-1) was a 32-0 winner.
Tanner Creager had four touchdowns — two rushing and two passing — for the Wildcats along with 70 yards rushing and 48 yards passing.
Christian Stubbs ran for 50 yards while James Peters had 49 yards rushing and a touchdown. Stubbs also caught a TD pass. Jay Ashcraft had a receiving touchdown. Nate Bates had a two-point conversion reception.
On defense, Jesse Wright led with 10 tackles while Stubbs had nine tackle. Johnny Schirmer had an interception.
The seventh grade ’Cats were 30-0 winners and are now 1-1.
Brayden Sipple had 81 yards passing and two touchdowns, one to Kyle Hopkins and another to Trenton Czaika. Sipple also had a two-point conversion rushing and a two-point pass to Brody Rice.
Blake Richards had 49 yards and touchdown on the ground. Gabe Peters had 40 yards and a TD rushing. Rice threw a conversion pass to Colt Conover.
Gage Hustin had eight tackles, including two and a half sacks. Conover had seven tackles and two sacks. Hopkins had six tackles and Czaika had two interceptions.
