Defending champs top WHS boy 7-1

The Wilmington High School boys soccer team was defeated by Chillicothe 7-1 Tuesday at Alumni Field.

Wilmington is 4-1-1. Chillicothe is the defending SCOL boys soccer champion.

“Chillicothe plays soccer the right way,” said WHS head coach Ima El-Macharrafie. “They are technically and tactically very sound.”

Wyatt Kessler scored the only Hurricane goal. Sam Spirk had an assist.
