BLANCHESTER — The Blanchester boys soccer team suffered its first loss of the season Thursday night, 4-0 to the Batavia Bulldogs.
The two teams played a scoreless first half. Dakota Penquite made 13 saves in goal for BHS.
Blanchester coach Troy Ballinger said once his squad trailed 1-0 “it was hard for them to get back in the game.”
The loss was a non-league defeat so the Wildcats remain tied with Bethel-Tate in the Southern Buckeye Conference National Division standings.
