CMMS 8th grade tops WCH


WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — The Clinton-Massie Middle School eighth grade volleyball team was a 25-12, 25-16 winner Thursday in a match against Washington Junior High School.

Hannah Doss had three kills, two digs and two blocks. Coach Aubrey Hoffman said Doss “really stepped up the intensity. I was very impressed.”

Liza Duncan had two ace, two kills, a dig and an assist. Patience Chowning had an ace and three digs. Carly Moritz had two aces and four assists. Molly Lynch had two kills and a dig.

“All the girls showed up to play tonight,” Hoffman said. “If we could play every game like tonight, we would be unstoppable.”
