Ralph and Elinor (Powell) Pelfrey are celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary. They will take a cruise with friends in January 2016.

They were married Oct. 1, 1960 at New Vienna Methodist Church. Ralph was employed with Blanchester Local Schools for 31 years, serving as teacher, coach and middle school principal. Elinor worked for S. Haines & Co. for 12 years, and also at Blanchester Public Library for 10 years before Ralph and Elinor relocated to Florence to be near family.

They have a son, Scott (Clara) Pelfrey of Shaker Heights, Ohio, and a daughter, Crystal (Rick) Hoefinghoff of Taylor Mill, Kentucky. They have five grandchildren, Meghan and Tyler Hoefinghoff and Ian, Noah and Celia Pelfrey.

The couple lives at 1624 Ashley Court, Apt. 103, Florence, KY 41042. The couple requests no gifts, please.
