SPRINGFIELD — The Blanchester boys golf season ended Tuesday at the Div. II Sectional at Reid Park Golf Course.

The Wildcats finished 15th in the sectional with a 418 team total. Springfield Shawnee won the tournament with a 337. Greenon, Springfield Northeastern and Ben Logan rounded out the top four and qualified for the district tournament next week.

Alec Richardson posted the low score for the Wildcats with a 93 (49-44) but did not qualify for the district.

Clayton Guy and Wesley Mitchell both shot 107s for the Wildcats while Conner Cook had a 111. Lane Heeg shot a 139.

Grant Engle of Shawnee had a 77 and was the individual medalist.
