LEES CREEK — The East Clinton reserve and freshmen volleyball teams lost a pair of matches Tuesday with Chillicothe.

The freshman were defeated 22-25, 24-26.

The reserve Lady Astros lost a 13-25, 15-25 match. East Clinton won the previous match with Chillicothe.

Avary Beatty had an ace and a dig. Carrie Pickering had a dig. Victoria Jamison had a kill and a block. Logan Peterman had an ace, three three assists, a kill, a dig and a save.

Lacey Peterman had an ace, three kills, seven digs and a save. Megan Stewart had a kill. Taylor Boeckmann had 10 digs and a save. Kaitlyn Talbott had an ace, a kill and a dig.

“The girls didn’t come to play,” said EC coach Hannah Wilson. “We beat Chillicothe last time we played them, so seeing them get down on themselves and not stay motivated was tough. They’ve hit a low streak and have to decide how they want to finish the season.”
