The East Clinton varsity volleyball team was defeated by Chillicothe and Blanchester this week.

On Tuesday, EC fell to Chillicothe 9-25, 12-25, 15-25.

Sam Gaddis had a kill, six assists and three blocks. Sam Bronson had three digs and Taylor Spence had three kills and four digs. Alexis Haines had four digs and an ace. Kayla Hall had an assist. Paige Lilly had a kill and eight digs. Kenzie Campbell had three kills and two blocks. Kate Durbin had three kills, a block and four digs.

On Wednesday, the Lady Astros lost to the Ladycats 19-25, 23-25, 14-25.

Gaddis had two kills, 10 assists and 15 digs. Bronson and Haines had 10 digs each. Spence had five digs. Hall had three kills and Lilly had two aces, three kills and seven digs. Campbell finished with a kill while Durbin had five kills and three digs. Lacey Peterman had three kills and four digs.
