Quakers look to end 3-game skid

The Wilmington College football team travels to John Carroll University for a 1:30 p.m. Saturday kickoff.

The Quakers (1-3, 0-3) hope to end their three-game losing streak, all in the Ohio Athletic Conference.

The Blue Streaks are 3-1 on the year, but lost their only home game of the season last week to Ohio Northern. JCU is 2-1 in the OAC.

Wilmington’s David Henry, a Wilmington High School graduate, and teammate Nick Williams lead the defense against John Carroll. Williams has 39 tackles while Henry has 38, including 2.5 sacks. Henry has forced three fumbles.

John Carroll has allowed just one sack this season. The Blue Streaks have 20 sacks to their credit on defense.

Wilmington’s quarterback duo of Luke Creditt and Austin Jarbo have combined for four passing touchdowns and 204 rushing yards this season.

Chase Manica is the leading WC rusher with 223 yards. Kyle Davis, another Wilmington High School graduate, has 143 yards rushing.

Justin Lee is the leading receiver for WC with 22 catches for 275 yards and a touchdown.

Arin Pruitt leads John Carroll with 335 yards rushing. Jack Schaefer had nine touchdown passes, four of those to top receiver Marshall Howell. He has 28 receptions for 320 yards.

The Blue Streaks will test the Quakers punt coverage team. John Carroll averages 17.6 yards on 12 punt returns this season.

Justin Lee is the leading receiver for the Wilmington College football team. The Middletown Madison product has 22 receptions for 275 yards and a touchdown.
