Blanchester JV gashes Goshen 28-7

The Blanchester reserve football team defeated Goshen 28-7 Saturday at GHS.

Jordan Stroud passed for 95 yards and a score. He also rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns. Marco Garcia had touchdown, a two-point conversion and rushed for 30 yards.

Quentin Miller had 88 yards rushing, a rushing TD, a two-point conversion and a receiving touchdown. Josh Creekmore had 39 yards rushing and Blake Baker rushed for 15 yards.

On defense, Garcia, Reighdyn Bare and Dylan Miller had five tackles each. Dylan Miller also intercepted two passes. Stroud also had an interception.

Blanchester jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first half. Stroud reached the end zone on a one-yard run then Garcia added the two-point run. Dylan Miller halted the next Goshen drive in an interception in the end zone.

Blanchester went up by two scores on a Stroud to Quentin Miller touchdown pass.

The Warriors made it 14-7 then the Wildcats took control. Stroud ran in his second touchdown with Quentin Miller tallying the two-point conversion.

Garcia had the final touchdowns with Quentin Miller getting the point-after run.
