ADAMS TOWNSHIP — The Clinton-Massie girls soccer team opened tournament play Monday night with a 5-1 win over Goshen in a Div. II Sectional match at Frank Irelan Field.
The Lady Falcons are now 10-5-2 on the year.
Clinton-Massie will play at Div. II No. 2 state-ranked Indian Hill 7 p.m. Thursday at IHHS. Indian Hill’s only loss this season is to Loveland, 1-0. The Lady Tigers are the No. 8 ranked team in the state’s Div. I girls poll.
Indian Hill, 12-1-3 on the year, also has ties with state-ranked Tippecanoe and state-ranked Dayton Carroll.
On Monday, Mikhayla Carter scored a pair of goals as the Lady Falcons cruised to the victory.
Rachel Yelicich, Sam Rice and Kelsi Frump also scored goals for Clinton-Massie.
