LEES CREEK — The Miami Trace freshman boys basketball team defeated East Clinton 38-18 Tuesday night in South Central Ohio League action at the EC gym.
Trace led 15-8 at halftime but broke the game open with a 9-2 third quarter.
Zach Mitchell led East Clinton with 10 points and Austin Arellano added 4.
Luke Hanners tossed in 2 points while Shane Streber and Trenton Shoemaker had 1 point each.
For Miami Trace, Ross Matthews Jr. was the top scorer with 10 and Austin Brown added 9.
Nick Foody had 6 points and Jake Atwood scored 4. Drew Batson, Austin Matthews and Wyatt Cory had 3 points each.
