Collins-Ledbetter wedding


Robert Alan Ledbetter and Katie Beth Collins were united in marriage Saturday, June 4, 2016 in Wilmington. The candlelight ceremony and reception were held at the Expo Center at the Clinton County Fairgrounds.

Kip and Joette Collins of Wilmington are the parents of Katie Beth. Robert’s parents are Sandy Ledbetter and the late Thomas Ledbetter of Clarksville. Katie’s grandparents are Donna Collins and the late Harold Collins and John and Jeanette Kersey and the late Joy Kersey.

Pastors Dave Hinman and Mark Brooks officiated at the ceremony with special music provided by Chase Collins, brother of the bride, who performed the song “Come and Listen.” During the lighting of the unity candle, James Ledbetter and his son, Kyle, performed “Your Love Is Extravagant.” James is the brother of the groom. The bride and groom received communion and a special time of blessing and prayer with their parents.

Attendants of the bride were matrons of honor: Hannah Hardy, sister of the bride; Lillian Collins, sister-in-law of the bride; and Jessie Thompson, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Beth McCarty, Chelsea Long, and Chrissy Thirey, all friends of the bride. Flower girls were Makenzie Collins, Cadence and Kyndle Ledbetter, all nieces of the bride and groom.

Serving as best man to the groom was Tony Todd, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Timothy Ledbetter, son of the groom; James Ledbetter, brother of the groom; Chase Collins, brother of the bride; Mark David and Jason McCarty, friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Kyle Ledbetter and Ezra Collins, both nephews of the bride and groom. Special guest in attendance, returning home from induction into the Marines one day prior was Travis Ledbetter, son of the groom.

The couple enjoyed a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee and is currently residing in Wilmington. Katie is employed at Liberty Savings Bank and Robert is employed by Nelson Comfort in Cincinnati.
