Wilmington police reports, arrests

WILMINGTON — The following report is generated from reports provided by the Wilmington Police Department. All those arrested are presumed innocent until possibly proven guilty in court. Incidents are presumed to be under investigation. Charges may be dropped or changed in court.

Wilmington police recently received the following reports:

• At 3:05 p.m. on Nov. 14, police received a call from a 67-year-old landlord who reported that appliances were found missing from a residence at the 100 block of South Wood Street. The events took place after a tenant was evicted. The items include a furnace/heat pump, a refrigerator, and a range/stove/oven, valued in total at $5,600.

• Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Midway Drive at 7:26 p.m. on Nov. 14 on the report of juveniles fighting. According to the report, files will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for charges.

• At 1:38 p.m. on Nov. 15 police were contacted by a 69-year-old Wilmington female about a theft from her residence at the 200 block of Prairie Avenue. According to the report, she advised that someone stole the medication overnight.

• At 6:51 p.m. on Nov. 15 police responded to the 100 block of Quaker Way on the report of a theft. A 19-year-old male told authorities that a pair of Bushnell binoculars and a vehicle owner manual pouch were stolen from his vehicle.

• At 8:41 p.m. on Nov. 15 police responded to the 1200 block of Cuba Road to assist the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office units with a house fire. Upon arrival, officers found a one-story residence with heavy smoke coming from the attic and front door. All occupants of the residence had exited and the fire department arrived on scene. According to the report, it appeared the kitchen area had caught fire and spread upward to the attic.

• At 12:48 p.m. on Nov. 16 a report to police was made alleging child sexual abuse. According to the report, authorities have a suspect, a 25-year-old Wilmington female, and the complaint is currently under investigation.

• Police responded to the 200 block of Grant Street at 8:47 p.m. on Nov. 16 on the report of a theft. A 47-year-old male told police that his 26-inch Next 21 speed mountain bike, valued at $50, was stolen.

• At 8:57 a.m. on Nov. 17 police received a report of a theft that took place at the Wilmington Public Library. According to the report, a 27-year-old Wilmington male told authorities that he left his backpack next to the park bench outside the library around 3:30 p.m. the previous day while he went inside the library for five to 10 minutes. When he came back he found it gone. The victim stated that his Social Security card along with other miscellaneous items were in the bag. The victim stated he’d look over surveillance tapes in an attempt to locate the suspect.

• At 7:47 p.m. on Nov. 17 authorities were dispatched to a store on a shoplifting report. According to the report, the unidentified shoplifter took a socket set valued at $30.

• A theft was reported to police at 7:11 a.m. on Nov. 18 by a student at the high school. The victim reported that his cell phone was stolen while he was in gym class.

• Police are looking into a child abuse complaint, reported at 4:21 p.m. on Nov. 18. A 32-year-old male from Wilmington came to the station in reference to suspected abuse against his son by the boy’s mother.

• At 10:58 p.m. on Nov. 18 authorities responded to the 800 block of Fife Avenue on a theft report. According to the report, a 48-year-old female resident told police that a 49-year-old male was in her house and noticed that some of her medications were stolen.

• Police received a rape report at 1:16 p.m. on Nov. 19. Police are currently investigation and according to the report, they have a 29-year-old male from Blanchester as a suspect.

• Police responded to the 100 block of Reba Drive at 6:28 p.m. on Nov. 20 on a theft complaint. Police made contact with a 45-year-old male resident who stated that while he was cleaning he came across paper indicateing that a 29-year-old female from Wilmington who lived with him had pawned off his HP Tablet, valued at $40.

Wilmington police also recently arrested or charged the following people:

• Brittany Perdue, 19, of Sabina for alleged theft and possessing criminal tools.

• Adam Watson, 33, of Wilmington for two counts of alleged traffic offenses and on an indictment for theft.

• Joshem Rodriguez-Garcia, 25, of Wilmington for driving under suspension.

• Taylor Hamilton, 22, of Wilmington for alleged theft.

• William Jackson II, 49, of Wilmington for alleged criminal damaging/endangering.

• Heather Younker, 39, of Port William for alleged theft.

• Dylan Price, 25, of New Vienna for alleged theft.

• Dewon Coleman, 35, of Wilmington for alleged driving under suspension.

• Russell Cole, 41, of Wilmington for alleged tax violation.

• Terry Flint, 54, of Wilmington for alleged O.V.I.

• Andrew Radabaugh, 26, of Wilmington for alleged trespassing.

• Clifford Morris, Jr., 27 of New Vienna for alleged assault.

• Mikael Doyle-Pruitt, 30, of Wilmington for alleged theft.

• Shannon Allphin, 39, of Wilmington for alleged criminal trespassing/failure to leave.
