The Blanchester eighth grade boys basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 48-36 win over Batavia Wednesday.

Brayden Sipple had 19 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals for the Wildcats.

Brody Rice had 11 points and hauled in 13 rebounds. Kyle Hopkins had 8 points and 5 steals while Logan Heitzman had 4 points and 6 rebounds.

The trio of Nolan Gray, Hunter Hartmann and Colton Wilson chipped in with 2 points each. Brady Phillips came up with 3 steals for Blanchester.
