BLANCHESTER — Thanks to a private donation from a Blanchester resident, Putman Elementary School was able to purchase items to help keep students warm for the winter.

“Every student and staff member received a warm sweatshirt with the Wildcat logo so we can show our school pride during special events,” said Principal Mike Snider.

The donation also purchased winter coats, tennis shoes, and socks for students who requested them. Additionally, shirts and sweatpants were purchased to distribute at school as needed.

“Our appreciation goes to Bulls Eye Screen Printing and the Kohl’s Department store in Milford for assisting and organizing this purchase,” Snider said. “Our purchase cost nearly $25,000! This amount of generosity is overwhelming and sincerely appreciated.

“The staff has loved seeing the new coats and shoes being put to great use!
