GREENFIELD — The East Clinton wrestling team opened South Central Ohio League action with a pair of losses Thursday to Miami Trace, 57-15, and McClain, 42-27.
“It was a rough night with many holes in our lineup,” EC coach Doug Stehlin said. “Things should improve once we get guys into proper weight classes and can fill more weights.”
Thomas Wright, the EC 160-pounder, had two wins, a 3-0 decision of James Munro of Miami Trace and a 7-5 win over Phil Waters of McClain. DJ Perry had a pin against Miami Trace’s Jack Anders at 182 pounds.
