OWENSVILLE — After leading by just two at halftime Friday night, the Blanchester freshman boys basketball team pulled away late to defeat Clermont Northeastern 35-26.

Tanner Creager led Blanchester (3-0) with 17 points.

Kaleb Goodin added 13 points. Jay Ashcraft chipped in four points, while Hunter Bare scored one point.
