The Blanchester seventh grade girls basketball team was defeated by Mount Orab 14-12 Wednesday night.
Madison Creager led the young Ladycats with eight points while Zoie Stanforth and Taylor Combs scored two points each. Creager led the team in steals, assists and offensive rebounds.
Maddison Ogden had two steals while Kenzie Kratzer and Rianna Mueller had one steal each. Stanforth blocked a shot. Combs, Daelyn Staehling, Mueller and Ogden had one rebound each.
