The Blanchester seventh grade girls basketball team was defeated by Norwood 30-12 Wednesday night.

Daelyn Staehling and Maddie Creager had four points each while Zoie Stanforth and Taylor Combs had two each.

Staehling also led the team defensively with four blocked shots and three defensive rebounds. Combs followed her with four defensive rebounds while Stanforth tallied three steals. Creager had a steal and two defensive rebounds.

Rianna Mueller added a defensive rebound and a steal while Aleah Wells and Lacie Tedrick had one defensive rebound each. Staehling and Creager both had three offensive rebounds for the Wildcats while Stanforth had two and Wells and Tedrick had one.
