SOESC board reorganizes

WILMINGTON — The Southern Ohio Educational Service Center (SOESC) held its organizational meeting Jan.24 at the SOESC Wilmington Office.

Roger West was elected president of the board, succeeding Richard Peck. Christine Charters was elected vice president, and Martha Gausman was appointed to serve as the boards’ legislative liaison for 2017.

Regular meetings are usually held at the Southern Ohio Educational Service Center at the Clinton County office located at 3321 Airborne Road, Wilmington, unless otherwise listed or announced in conformity to Ohio Law. Please note the March 28 meeting will be held at Southern Ohio Community College, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.

This year’s meetings will be held at: 6:30 p.m. Feb. 28; 5:30 p.m. March 28; 7 p.m. April 25, May 23, June 27, July 25, Aug. 22, Sept. 26 and Oct. 24; 6:30 p.m. Nov. 28; and 6 p.m. Dec. 19.
