2017 Projection: Senior Luke Meares (8-1 in SCOL, second singles) returns as the Astros clear cut No. 1 singles. A 2016 late season singles victory propels junior Alex Pence into the 2nd singles spot. Jaren Evans returns as half of the Astros best doubles team. Bambic, Howard and Bronson frequently made up parts of the Astros second doubles team and will compete to fill Travis Knell’s spot at first doubles. Open competition for the third singles position, Evans partner on the first doubles team and both spots on the second doubles team will come from Levi Bambic, Elijah Howard, Blake Bronson, Jake Howard, Josh Cline, John Cline, Blake Williams and Hayden Pirman.
