BLANCHESTER — The Blanchester tennis team lost to Western Brown 4-1 Wednesday in a non-league match with a Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference American Division rival.
The Wildcats are now 4-3 on the year.
Blanchester picked up a win at first singles where Jake Miller was a 2-6, 6-4, 10-6 winner. The ’Cats came up on the short end of another three-setter at second singles with Wesley Mitchell dropping a 6-2, 2-6, 5-10 match.
“Fantastic matches at first and second singles,” BHS coach Scott Shepard said. “Both players played well. We’re still continuing to improve.”
